So excited for Thanksgiving Day parade. They were still setting up these windows when I stopped by. So it's more of a preview-ish.

Children's Book Roundup
Last week I was able to visit the Original Art show at the Society of Illustrators. Some of my favorites included:
I honestly LOVED LOVED LOVED this book. It plays homage to the architect greats out there.
Really deep, lovely illustrations. Worth a read.
Ed Fotheringham has this great illustrated book! You've seen his illustrations everywhere--I was happy to see them here.
Some other illustrators I found out about here. Salley Mavor's stitchable style! Serge Bloch.
Some beautiful quotes that were scattered throughout the exhibit.
"No matter how, when, or where kids devour books- and no matter how illustrators are created- this show is a perfect reminder that great artistic talent and transformatives storytelling are truly what it's all about."
-- Laurent Linu, Chair, The Original Art
"A book with no pictures is like a sky with no clouds."
